Storia Hotel Argentina
Archivio Hotel Villa Argentina

100 years of history of Villa Argentina Hotel

In the early 1900s, it was a small inn that would host the tourists travelling on the Road of the Dolomites. Today, it is a large functional and comfortable hotel where our guests feel at home thanks to the warm hospitality of the owners.
Half way between trendy Cortina d'Ampezzo and Falzarego and Giau mountain passes, Villa Argentina Hotel is a veritable heaven for sports enthusiasts, for families with little children, and for all those seeking peace and tranquillity.

Its strength is its location, since it lies on the slopes of the Tofane and Ra Valles ski areas and is connected with the brand new Cortina Skiline to those of the Lagazuoi 5 Torri Giau area

Surrounded by meadows and forests, it is the starting point and destination of countless hikes in the Park of the Ampezzo Dolomites and in the Lagazuoi 5 Torri area, famous for the open air museums of World War 1 and  rock climbing walls. The mountains which have deserved the title of UNESCO World Heritage site lie close to the hotel and most of the rooms enjoy stunning views over the most beautiful peaks, such as the Tofane and Croda da Lago.

Guests wishing to relax and rest while  their children are playing safe on green meadows or snow clad slopes, far from busy roads, will enjoy the hotel park with playground and garden.

Time flows slowly and quietly at Villa Argentina, breathing the intimate atmosphere of times gone by. In fact, while the renovation works carried out in the recent years have brought the hotel in step with the times, its 100 year-old history has been carefully preserved.
